"Located in the southeastern part of Arkansas, Lake Ouachita State Park is an ideal destination during the fall season. The crystal-clear waters are embraced by expansive mountains adorned with towering trees. Offering excellent camping and hiking opportunities, the park also provides amenities for boating, fishing, and swimming."
"This place is stunning! I can’t wait to go back. We ended up there bc it was the only place with an open campsite at the last minute and I couldn’t be happier. The facilities were clean, the staff we encountered were nice. The park was clean there wasn’t a lot of litter. Very scenic! Deer everywhere. The islands are so cool! PSA get your boaters safety stuff before going if you think you’ll rent a boat. The park wasn’t over crowded and it was way better than Hot Springs imo."
"I love visiting lake Ouachita State Park when I'm in town. It's such a beautiful area. I look forward to my next visit when I can spend more time there!"
"Very beautiful scenery especially in the fall with fall colors. We stayed away from park at best western cuz they allow dogs, and it was right across street from casino where my wife likes the fancy blinking lites and losing money. My favorite is the scenery especially fall colors, the lake and ponds with pretty trees around were beautiful. We all enjoyed the trip. This next year during fall colors we are planning farther north at Ozarks or east in smoky mountains or blue ridge parkway. Try these!"
"Had a great experience! We stayed in camper cabin 61, which was very clean and comfortable. The lightning bugs were beautiful, the water calming, and the Three Sisters’ Spring so cold! Dropping 1 star purely because the women’s shower in Camp Section A had a low shower head and floating dead bugs in the soap dish of standing water."
