Reviews
"Lisa Lippold and Amanda Schilling kinda openly talked about my confidential family issues with students and staff. They really blocked my other account from making reviews :("
"It's a big school. Big Park I g lot. Downstairs also. Big theater show room. Check in at the front door desk."
"I went to this school and graduated from. And those years are what I call: Not fun, nor pleasant to be at. I am always optimistic about school, but this school is what I call: Lazy and Afraid. A lot of teachers are afraid to act on certain things. Such as bullying or fights. Seems only the principal and or police may get involved. During my time there, I worked really hard. Im not kidding. But I was quiet, I didn’t have many friends either. People knew me but didn’t talk to me, which is completely fine for 80% of it. But even if I worked hard. Sometimes I wouldn’t get a grade I wanted, even if I did it right. The school also has a lot of flexible learning with the ipads we had. It encouraged a lot of laziness. And those people who didn’t like me. When I did nothing to literally anyone. Called me a school shooter and made plenty of insults. I already have a few mental disorders: depression and anxiety and 2 others. This school really didn’t help those. Nor did the teachers care. Literally, I only had one teacher that genuinely cared. Every day here was pretty awful for someone like me: introverted. Quiet but definitely not shy."
"Tl;Dr this school is filled with teachers and staff who are lazy and don’t care, students who are lazy and don’t care, with a horrible system for teaching. Avoid if you are able to. Garbage school full of children with fetal alcohol syndrome. The staff, more specifically the higher ups, are even worse. My friends have had numerous cases where they did absolutely nothing to help with their bullying issues. The school is pushing something called “self-paced classes”, which are nothing more than being handed an iPad, and teachers posting videos or worksheets, then letting their students do the work. This means the teachers have no impact on their students learning, other than being a provider of busy work. The result of this are students who have no idea what they are doing, especially in standardized tests like the ACT or SAT. My guess people support this system because it creates much less work on students and teachers, even at the cost of our own education. That being said, there are some actually good teachers who participate with their students. Typically these are the language or elective teachers, and there are a few really good core class teachers. But sadly the concentration between these good and bad teachers is heavily favored in bad teachers. When you look up the statistics for how well our school is doing, it’s actually abmismal and depressing. They invested so much money in the look of this school, they forgot to pay for education. I feel I was getting a much better education at my old school, and that school had the security guards legitimately buy drugs off the students. Speaking of drugs, there is a massive vaping problem here, and yet again the staff has put in minimal effort to stop this issue. Send your children to east view if you are able to, or even put them in online school, because the only difference between online school and this place is that online school is way better then this place. I’d give this place a negative score if possible."
"hicks, and jocks everybody else is fend for them selves this school is a nightmare. They have us all brainwashed get away while you can."
