"I have never been to this school but I wanted to say that there was at least 3 reviews that were made by employees of the school or at least the district. Not going to point fingers but this is BIG red flag if you ask me and I reported all 3 of the ones that i found (could be more) for conflict of interest. I suggest if you are thinking about going here or anywhere you do your research :) Big thanks to linked in for solving the mystery"

"When I was going to school before COVID, it was really great. I am on my last semester here now, and it's been a struggle. I used to be able to go to the tech departments study room to hang out with peers and get help from tutors. Now, it's practically impossible to get a hold of school counselors, there is MAYBE 1 tutor available, and it ultimately feels like none of the staff really care to much about their jobs. I would have given this school a lower rating, but I understand that this is probably the case for most schools right now. It's just a shame that the year I decided I wanted an education, COVID hits and all of a sudden I no longer get the same services, benefits, attention, and resources I used to get."

"Staff and Facility are all good, staff are always helpful and clearly passionate about what they do and teach, the facility is clean, easy to navigate and occasionally fun to explore. There are nice outdoor hangout spots which are relaxing to visit (pre-Covid) I feel really happy with my choice to attend this school. The school also took Covid very seriously and at no point have I worried for my safety and well-being. If you’re looking to get into trades, or pursue other career or educational choices offered by Anoka Tech, I’d highly recommend it."

"Do not do their LPN program if you can help it. I had one incredibly kind and caring instructor (Kay). The nursing director is rude and dismissive. Honestly one of the most unprofessional directors I have ever seen. The courses are choppy, staff fight in front of students, the courses have no additional help (tutors, extra explanations). Very outdated teaching methods. If you ask for help expect to get "Well ask your fellow peers.". Which no peer has time to help you. I wasted my money and time. I was treated horribly for the three months I was there."
