"The first tech had difficulty finding a vein and was poked twice with no luck, so she asked for assistance and she was able to get a vein with good flow."
"Love the online appointments, upon arrival visit the machine, enter my confirmation code, take photo of ID and done. Another option is to use the text they send in the am and just click on it to say "I am here" Many elder, non tech customers may have more issues but if you are tech savvy, use text and keep you appts with confirmation codes in your calendar it is a BREEZE. There are other options for checking in I just prefer to 6 digit code similar to airline reservations."
"Took 7 stabs and two techs to draw blood this time last time was 6. Facility is decent but the techs leave something to be desired."
"BEWARE! If you don't come before 30 minutes prior to closing you will not be seen. It's not posted anywhere but right at the closing time you will be kicked out by security. The employees will argue with you and treat you as if you are dumb and can't tell time though you were there prior to closing and blame it on being short staff. The security guard it pleasant. I too work in the medical field and you should never speak to a patient that way , especially when there time is involved."
"The new location is nicer but not the staff! So, I had an appointment. I checked in through the app and waited in the lobby. This Phlebotomist named Ericca or Ericka called me by my last name only (I understand why she didn’t say my full name was to protect my personal information), not even a smile or how are you? But anyway, As soon as she called me, she said, “Room one.” I waited after I stepped inside behind the door to ask her if it was for _____ (said my first name). She gave me this look and proceeded by repeating my last name. So I was like, I wanted to know if you got the right patient before I go back to room one because there could be other patients out there with the same last name. She turned around and opened the door, and said, “Okay, you need to go back out and wait again.” I’m like, why? I’m just trying to confirm my identity. I mean, I used to be a Phlebotomist too before becoming a Registered Nurse, and I am very well aware of the importance of verifying the patients and all I wanted was for her to confirm my first name. I don’t think she likes her job because she looked bothered by patients asking questions and I found out that I was not the first patient she treated that way on that day. I can’t believe someone with that attitude is working in the medical field. She’s just there for the paycheck, but she could care less for patients. I mean, patients don’t show up at Quest to have fun; patients are sick and fasting. The least they could do is be nice and show kindness to their patients."
