"This is a great stop between Joshua Tree and LV. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic - I had shrimp ranchero, came with homemade tortillas - you can choose corn or flour. I recommend eating there - they are super fast - as it will give you more options than eating on the road. That said, the shrimp burrito I got for the road on the way back through was also great, and huge! Definitely recommend this stop. It was also super clean. Tastes to me like home cooking of the best sort - lots of locals were in and out while I was there."

"Small but great food and service. I normally stop at the Mad Greek but decide to try something new. The breakfast burritos were very large. Next time, hubby and I will share. I took a picture of the shrimp cups so I can try one next visit."

"These tacos are amazing! If you're driving between SoCal and Vegas, this is a great spot for truck-stop tacos. While they do have an expensive menu, I recommend sticking to the tacos, as that's what they're best at. The items at the salad bar were also fresh. Additionally, you can bring your own alcohol (there's a liquor store next door)!"

"The chicken was terrible and my order was incomplete. I went inside to order my food to go. No one else was in line. I ordered two burritos with guacamole. They wrapped my burritos in foil, so I wasn't able to double check my order before I left the building. When I unwrapped my chicken burrito, I noticed it did not have any guacamole, which I paid extra for. The chicken had a strange texture, almost like shrimp. It was so awful that I spit it out. The carnitas burrito was pretty tasty. My order was over $35. Since I only received one burrito worth eating, this was an expensive visit. As I was on the road, I didn't make an extra trip to return the chicken burrito. Needless to say, I will not be returning."

"How do we love thee … Let us count the ways?! If we pass through Baker we stop here even if we aren’t hungry!! It’s SO GREAT! We were thrilled they were thriving enough to have done a remodel. Bright, clean, new salsa bar, modern bathrooms. Wow! Very well done for a tiny Mexican restaurant. Most importantly, their homemade hot salsa is epic (we always buy the largest take home size possible) and remains a staple. Additionally, the entire menu remains intact and so delicious! If we know in advance there is a possibility that we will pass through Baker - I bring the cooler to bring takeout all the way home! That great! The staff are always friendly, helpful and sincere. Honestly, if you like Mexican or want to try it - this place will not disappoint!"
