El Pollo Loco

"My daughter loves going to El Pollo Loco because they serve broccoli…but this was her entire side of broccoli. Every piece was brown and squishy! And it cost me $5! Very disappointed!"

"I have eaten at various El Pollo Locos many times since moving to Las Vegas eight years ago. The food has always been reliable, so I was excited when the Skye Canyon location opened. After going through some growing pains, I'm pleased that I recently had the best meal I have ever had from this chain. The chicken was perfectly done, the beans were spiced well and the salad was fresh. Most importantly, the creamy cilantro dressing was thick and not watery like it had been. Keep up the good work! I can't comment on the atmosphere, as I did the drive through. Also, the window server was pleasant and friendly."

"I normally go to El Pollo Loco on Durango but, I decided to go to this new location. I ordered a 16 piece family meal and never in my time going to El Pollo Loco have I had chicken that was so burnt. The smell and taste was horrendous. I decide to go back and exchange it and when I walked in, no one was even glancing at the chicken, they were all in the back. I stood there for over 5-10 minutes waiting until someone was close enough to get their attention. All that time, the chicken was just sitting there unattended (no wonder ours was burnt). As the person opens the storage drawer and begins exchanging our chicken, I can already see that it was still burnt. Due to frustration, we reluctantly took the chicken because the children at home were starving. I was happy to finally be done with everything only to walk into the kitchen at home with the exchanged chicken and see that our rice was overcooked too. The rice was very dry. It wasn't edible. Crunchy rice does not taste good. I was disappointed how terrible the food was prepared and I will probably stick to the El Pollo Loco on Durango from now on unless something changes. Very loyal and disappointed customer."

"This is a new restaurant at Skye Canyon off 95. Neat and clean with handicap access. You have to use the order Kiosk located at the front counter. It will take awhile if you've used it for the first time. Or you could order online for pick up. Customer service was friendly and very helpful. Wait time was 5 mins. The food was delicious. They have a rewards program. Definitely will return."

"I was greeted with a hello by staff behind the counter. However, I was led to the counter with two automatic kiosks where you enter your own food?? I guess I really like the human contact aspect. I ordered a BRC burrito the rice was pretty crunchy and all honesty. The guacamole definitely needed some spice and zest to it. I had to ask for the guacamole sauce on the side to zest it up a little."
