Westonka Public Schools is an innovative district located at 5901 Sunnyfield Road East in Mound, Minnesota. The district is dedicated to delivering educational excellence to its students. Recent events at the school include the honoring of parent and volunteer Rebecca Sebasky with the Ann Bremer White Hawks Award, a celebration of World Down Syndrome Day at Hilltop Primary School, and a variety show at Shirley Hills Primary School. Mound Westonka High School also recently named senior Natalie Miner as the recipient of the Athena Award for outstanding female athlete. Additionally, the Westonka Performing Arts Center will be hosting the Broadway musical "Footloose" from April 11-21. The district is also preparing for summer construction projects tied to the 2023 facilities bond referendum, as well as a review of the district brand.
