Chipotle Mexican Grill 540 Nevada 160, Pahrump, NV 89048

"Normally a good meal at an established location. This is a new site and is going through some growing pains. Crowds have thinned out but we like going for an early lunch. We have been there twice since opening and both days suffered from missing items from available selection. The first time was not too bad as they were only out of chips, but the most recent visit suffered from no quac, fajitas, salad greens and no fountain drinks. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they can turn this around with a little more time."

"45 minute wait from the time we entered the door to the time we were at the burrito counter, with only about 20 people in front of us. If you are time-limited, go elsewhere. Only one worker on the line that whole time, during the lunch rush, with no one manning the cash register, either (occasionally the manager would come over, but she was all over the place). Maybe the long waits are forgivable because they are new and clearly super understaffed?? Or perhaps they should close the drive through until they have enough staff to keep that line as well as the walk-in line running? Idk. But the 2 stars really comes from the disgusting way the line was allowed to get. It was not cleaned once during our 50 minutes there, and the sludge from the workers overstuffing the burrito bowls that they then couldn't close just accumulated, getting on everyone else's burritos and containers, too. I've never seen that before in a Chipotle, and if it was a regular thing, I'd never visit a Chipotle again. Cleanliness and sanitation can't be an afterthought, even at a brand new packed restaurant. Avoid this Chipotle until you see reviews turning around. We visited Dec 27, 2023."

"Food safety, cold food at pickup window. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup. I waited nearly 30 minutes before I was at the pickup window due to congestion and delays within the lane. Upon arrival, I noticed that my bag of burritos were sitting cold on a metal shelf. I kindly asked that my burritos be made fresh. I patiently waited. Then, I noticed that the store manager removed my foil wrapped burritos that were loaded with sour cream and lettuce from the bag and placed them on the tortilla warmer (See photo). Then turned them a few times and placed them back in the bag and proceeded to hand them to me, which I refused. This is improper food handling as my burrito had sour cream, which if warmed up after sitting, could induce food poisoning. I asked again if my burritos could be made fresh and the manager refused. I asked for a refund and was told to contact corporate. I was out $24 and my family was unable to eat lunch."

"Ordered one bowl for delivery Had a few strands of cheese on top and the bowl was only half full...I found only a couple strands of fajita vegetables also ...very disappointed...cost 28.00 with 3.00 tip got extra steak... Bowl by itself was 21.00"

"Update: As of 2 NOV 2023, I spoke with a Chipotle official today. "They do not expect to open before the first of the year 2024". Remember, this is Pahrump, we are in the PST time zone.. that's Pahrump Slow time. As of 27 JULY 2023, building in, parking lot laid. The restaurant looks to be one month from grand opening. Looks nice. I can't wait to try their food. UPDATE 29 AUG 2023. It looks like they are still at least one month from opening. What's taking so long Chipotle?"
