"Awesome campground. Water available for hikers and campers. Was decommissioned but sites are still relatively well maintained. Right off of the 7. Not too far from a very quaint general store. Family who owns and runs it is so nice! Try the cake in a jar. Campground has one vault toilet. It hits the OHT (Ozark Highlands Trail) going both directions. Awesome spot! Lots of good motorcycle riding around as well."
"Campground appears to be shut down, but there were picnic tables, one pit toilet and some water available. Stopped for a short walk along the trail while driving through the area, and it was very scenic."
"This campground has been decommissioned and is no longer maintained. It’s still available to camp at (or atleast it was when we went last year) but that’s why you’ll find people complaining about the state of the fire rings and picnic tables. That being said, it’s still a wonderful place to camp. It’s covered in tall trees (perfect for hammocks) and it has beautiful views of the Ozarks. There’s maybe 8 sites in the whole place, but it’s not very crowded at all. There was only two other people in the campgrounds when we were there. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat."
