Reviews
"The food is quite an amazing thing - very well flavored and authentic. The orange peel chicken was crispy and not too sweet. The staff were amazing and told us about the interesting history of the building. Owned and operated by the cutest couple. I would make a special trip to come back here, 10/10 recommend."
"This place is very popular, good Chinese food, friendly staff. Had teriyaki rice bowl and was very flavorful. Has limited seating so please call to reserve table or walk up to a staff to reserve. Or you will have to wait longer to be seated. The wait is worth the quality of food."
"Was on the way back from death valley and stopped in Lone Pine for a Dinner, ended up having dinner here at Merry Go Round. My wife and daughter are gluten sensitive and it's hard to find a Chinese place that offers gluten free options. Was pleasantly surprised that the chief can make most dishes on the menu gluten free. Had their special curry and rice noodles dish, five flavors rice noodle dish and the orange peel chicken all gluten free. It was some of the best Chinese I have had everyone was happy. Had excellent service, will definitely come back again, highly recommend."
"The staff here are incredibly friendly without being invasive in the restaurant. The food is so good too. I ordered the kung pao chicken which comes with steamed rice and a Sapporro beer. Make sure you’re prepared to order take out or call for reservations as they get very busy. I was lucky enough to be a walk in while there were constantly other patrons attempting to gain seating."
