"Always something new at the White River and a great place to walk . Next to the park is a community center with a beautiful garden all around it. There are name tags on the plants too. You may walk your dog here. There are two bathroom areas. Basketball court. A place to bring tiny tots for slide and swing. Picnic tables with shade. A place to put your kayak in the river too. Fishing is good for bass in the spring time and catfish all year. Please watch for the snake's! Yes this is an area I have seen a cottonmouth hanging above me in a tree and almost stepped on a non poisonous garden snake. Watch for wasps in shelter areas too. Now most of all have a great day and catch some fish for dinner too!"
"This was a great place to put in the kayak! Also plenty of room to play at the park and a great pavilion. The water was super clear and clean as well. Just note there is a gravel road entrance if that is something that concerns you. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!"
