"I attended this University years ago! It was awesome and weird at the same time. They have some really caring professors, the counselors could use a bit of a touch up on understanding and relating to the student needs. This is definitely a college town and everything is far away. So be careful when traveling to the nearest store which was like 7-11 or a gas station convenience store. My dorm was in a coed building and lucky my room was near the bathroom. Dorm size was pretty cool."

"UMM offers everything you'd want from a small, private liberal arts college, but because it's a public school it costs considerably less. I studied music here, and I couldn't recommend this department highly enough--particularly if you're interested in piano (incredible instructors) or composition (lots of enthusiasm for student works). The campus itself is beautiful, the student community is intimate and fun, and the professors are super accessible. I'd give the place six stars if I could."
