"Great atmosphere and amazing food. Ordered grilled octopus and Thai chicken over Jasmine rice. The octopus was so good. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fine dining experience at Yosemite Valley."

"We stayed in Yosemite this winter and have dined at all the restaurants in the Valley (…cause there’s only few). In my opinion, mountain room was better than Ahwahnee dining that offered buffet for dinner. Food here was surprisingly good and maybe the best place for the quality food in the Valley - we ordered salad, French onion soup, lamb shank, grilled salmon. Their wine list is quite good too. It was winter so less crowded but I recommend making reservation cause there’s limited dining options."

"Came here for a nice meal after a long hike in the day. Service here is outstanding with great care given throughout the meal. Drinks menu is decently priced and has a good selection, while the food menu is mostly classics with some interesting dishes. Thought the lamb shank was very hearty but also a bit too rustic for my liking. Steak was decent but maybe too charred. Brussel sprouts were standout, and the eggnog creme brulee ended things well. All in, a good spot in the valley for a nice meal!"

"Celebrated a great weekend and an anniversay at the Mountain Room. Fine dining and delicious food met with beautiful rustic setting. Services was impeccible . Lamb shank , octopus appetizer , filet , shrimp coctail were some of the many treats we tasted at our dinner. What a way to end our stay in Yosemite. Take the time and reserve you reservation before you arrive."

"Great place for dinner after a long day hiking in the park. Food is on the pricier side, but it was really good. Lots of ingredients sourced locally. Steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Highly recommend the bread appetizer, the bread is very good and the butter it comes with is delicious. Service was excellent and everything was very clean. Best bathrooms we found in the valley."
