"Kinda spendy as the charge per mile was $1.29 for a truck rental in addition to the rental fee and insurance. Office is understaffed and (understandably) stressed."
"I’m not sure if the management has changed but everything has become worse. Atleast the previous manager was respectful whenever she called. I am renting from them for more than 6 years, it was a very good experience first half - great price, excellent customer service but past few years has been a nightmare. They almost doubled my rent and on top of that they charge me whatever they feel like. When someone called me few weeks ago I expressed my concern about the inconsistencies, he was very rude and careless, I don’t like to say he was racist because it was a phone call so I’m not sure but definitely you don’t like to talk to people with such behavior. Guess what?? They charged me even more this month because of the last call. Please make sure to check your monthly charges. I am not sure whom to complain but what they are doing is illegal but since I don’t live in MN now I’m stuck paying them whatever they charge me and can’t vacate as need enough money to travel. I won’t be surprised if they add more charges after this post."
"The staff person at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. She went above and beyond with her service. I will specifically use and recommend this location for future needs due to her. I was scared about driving a big van, but the way she welcomed me immediately put me at ease. Please pass on my comments! Thank you!"
"I rented a unit here for about 5 months to keep and play my drum set and i had nothing but a great experience. Trish was very kind and helpful and always available for any concerns I had. My only reason for leaving was that I found an actual studio to play music with people but if I ever need a storage unit again, with no doubt I'll be coming back to knollwood."
"I have rented a commercial vehicle space for the past four years. The facility is well managed, safe, modern and competitively priced. The on-site manager, Trish Sanford, has been extremely proactive in monitoring and ensuring high satisfaction of the renters. She is responsive to my questions, or concerns and has immediately addressed items that have arisen. I would highly recommend renting from Knollwood Self Storage."
