Local Motion

"The men who came to move my items were pretty good. They were on the later side arriving but did arrive within the hour window. The issue I'm having is that after unpacking I found several items that were damaged. They broke one of my lamps so much that I had to throw it away, put a deep gouge into a television, and broke one of my dining room chairs. I have been trying to contact someone to file a claim with the company and no one ever calls me back. They send me straight to voice they send me straight to voicemail. It's really unprofessional to not call a customer back when they leave you several voicemails. At this point I won't be recommending local motion to anybody I know who is moving at this point I won't be recommending local motion to anybody I know who is moving. The only reason I gave two stars is because the movers were polite and they did a quick job moving. The rest of the company needs a lot of work."

"The crew was professional and on time. They were so caring and careful with all of our stuff, despite we have so much to move, all of the members showed extreme patience with great care. I could not recommend this service enough, their price is also very competitive. We were grateful for the great services we received."

From dispatch to delivery everything went smoothly. Local Motion set us up with Dom and Kai. This duo was awesome! "I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND USING LOCAL MOTION FOR ANY MOVE, PERIOD!! We used Local Motion for our move in Aug of 2023. Almost every piece of our residential furniture was damaged in some way. We filed a claim the next business day and the company has been all but unresponsive for nearly 3 months. Damages included deep gouges, large dents, scratches, chips, etc. Damaged furniture included a brand new sectional sofa which was nearly ruined, full size refrigerator, large chest freezer, king size master bedroom set, two twin bedroom sets, large glass-front bookcase, sofa table, dining table, large poker table, entry bench, water dispenser, and other items. David Sealy, owner, promised he would find a way to repair our furniture, but now won't respond to any of our calls and messages. We were overcharged for the final invoice and haven't heard back about that either. All three movers arrived an hour late at our new residence for unloading and one of the movers arrived nearly two hours late. To cause such significant damage, something had to have happened during transport, but none of the workers mentioned anything during the unloading. The movers also significantly damaged a bedroom wall and left our home without saying a word. It will cost us thousands of dollars to fix or replace our damaged furniture that was in excellent condition prior to the move. We just recently filed a complaint with the MN state attorney general in hopes of resolving this matter."
