"These guys run an absolute scam. They charge you one amount. Take half your things and then say “That’s all the space. To take the rest is thousands more”. And of course they only accept cash. Was so bad we sued in civil court and were awarded a judgement. Run away from this company."
"This was the worst moving experience imaginable and I am still having nightmares about it. One star is an overly generous review. We were initially quoted $10K for a move from MN to NY. Once the truck was loaded they said it was going to be $19K. We had no other options because we had to be out of that house the following day. When our stuff arrived much of it was destroyed including antique family furniture and a 65” tv - which the company packed. In addition to receiving much of our belongings damaged, we were missing several items and had a large box of someone else’s clothes delivered to us. I contacted the company about getting someone else’s belongings three months ago and still haven’t heard back. I since found the owner on social media and shipped it to her myself. I went through the claim process and they were willing to pay $237. I am now out $19K and need to purchase thousands of dollars of new things to replace what arrived damaged. Just leave your stuff when moving and buy new or move it yourself in a uhaul truck. $19K is an absurd amount of money to receive absolutely nothing but anger in return."
"UPDATE: I found out that this company post false/fake positive reviews. I NEVER received any compensation for the furniture they ruined. Was ignored and dismissed. Please note the owner gives a response and thanks any positive review, while ignoring the many many complaints. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I hired 1st Class Moving June 2018 and was highly DISAPPOINTED. They were 3 hours late, and rushed through the job which resulted it a lot of damaged furniture. The crew was courteous, and assured me the company had insurance, and that I shouldn't worry about it. I wrote the insurance company (who made me feel as if I was in the wrong for even asking to be compensated), and finally 4 months later was issued a settlement letter in the sum of $120. The following was what was damaged/broken. • White Coffee Table – Multiple Scratches, dents, black marks • Black Decorative Mirror Frame – Mirror completely shattered • Two white end tables – Legs completely broken off • Dresser Drawer – Drawers cracked, scratch on the side. • Wood/Wicker Storage Chest – Side kicked/pushed in I provided pictures, and everything that was asked. I feel I was definitely scammed. The contract I signed even stated I was not to pay for travel time (duh, they were 3 hours late), and they tried to charge me for that anyway. I tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt, but really should have went with my gut, and cancelled it after they were an hour late. PLEASE BEWARE! For some reason I'm not allowed to post all the pictures of my damaged furniture, but please know there was a lot more."
"DO NOT HIRE THEM! The guys who picked up my load where bickering the whole time about who was doing most of the work. They were rough with all of my boxes. It took a month for my boxes to arrive and they were crushed and so many things were broken, damaged or didn't make it here at all. I called when the boxes showed up and let Sal know the damage to the boxes. He said to email pictures of the boxes which I did right away along with what was missing, Then I could never get a hold of him again. He didn't answer my emails nor voicemail I left for him. I had to drop it for awhile as I had a couple deaths in the family and was also having medical issues. It has been a year and I finally got a hold of Zack, who I talked to in the beginning when I booked them. He basically said it was too late and when I explained that I had been trying to get a hold of Sal without any response back he started yelling at me that I was trying to extort money from them when they stole from me as so many things did not arrive! None of my framed pictures made it here and half of my things were broken or damaged. I had purchased brand new moving boxes to pack and bubbled wrapped everything and they were all crushed. They assured me they wouldn't charge more than my quote and yet when my things arrived they charged me extra and would not unload my stuff unless I paid the extra. And they will not do anything about all my damaged and missing things. This company is a nightmare does not have any integrity. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MOVE! Worst experience ever!!!!"
"Here is the email I sent to the point of contact after delivery: "The only promise that was made and kept was that you did get our stuff from point A to point B. Everything else involved poorly managed expectations: 1. I asked you multiple times about additional charges beyond the initial quoted price. You assured me that only the size of the load would change the price. Then when the movers showed to the first location, they told us there is an elevator charge and a charge for moving items more than 100ft. As well as them trying to sell us moving materials. I disclosed to you during our initial conversation that one stop was on the 9th floor of a high rise and you failed to disclose the additional charges. 2. Lack of communication. You also claimed that you were available for contact yet as we waited weeks for our stuff, you were very slow to respond to multiple requests for an update. We called, left messages and sent emails and had to wait two or more days for a response. I understand you didn’t have much to update but you were in possession of all of our stuff and we were looking for some assurance that things were moving forward. 3. When our stuff was picked up, the supervisor explained to us that there was 21 days for you to deliver but “we usually get it there within 4 or 5 days”. These are expectations that you should not set as it took 15 business days to deliver. 4. I asked if you did all the deliveries with your own employees and you assured me that you did. The gentlemen that delivered our stuff looked a lot like outside contractors. I am basing this on their lack of knowledge towards your company and the fact that one of them dropped a card advertising his moving services. 5. We had some pretty banged up stuff and a poorly packed truck. I attached pictures. We assumed that a box that had “Fragile” written on it would be treated as such. This was not the case. A few sings and scratches on some bigger items and a number of banged up boxes. I will add that the crew that picked and loaded our goods in Minneapolis were very thorough with the items that required blankets and wrapping. I would have appreciated my expectations being better managed by your sales pitch. I intend to leave the above facts in online reviews to give potential customers an honest review and opinion of your company. " Two stars because they did get stuff from A to B. I even asked about negative reviews and guy told me they are just people that expect too much. I did not expect much and gave him the opportunity to set those expectations properly and he failed. Basically, they will probably get your stuff where you need it but it will be more headaches and more money than you expected."
