Murphys Hwy 4 Diner

"It's a great place to get some breakfast. Nothing fancy but hot and simply. The food was good but not over the top delicious. The service was good but not fast. Definitely need extra help. We went around 10-10:30 am. On a Thursday morning, it seemed pretty busy for 1 waitress. We tried the chilly, pancakes with eggs and bacon, the breakfast sandwich."

"Came up to Murphys for a day trip and wanted breakfast. Didn’t plan on stopping here, but really glad I did. The biscuits and gravy were really yummy, and with there not being any Sausage in the gravy, meant I was able to eat it (vegetarian) Tina was super sweet, very personable, and had a good sense of humor. I’ll definitely be back."

"Don't pass through Murphys without stopping in to the Murphys Hwy 4 Diner right on Hwy 4. From what I can tell it might be the best breakfast in Murphys. Wonderful, delicious, made to order omelet with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. The coffee was the best I've had in ages!! Their menu includes a variety of other breakfast and lunch staples from pancakes and french toast to burgers and sandwiches. Prices were very reasonable for food this good. And the service was great -- friendly and welcoming. The nostalgic music really added to the classic diner ambience. I'll definitely stop in again and recommend you do too!! Excellent!!"

"We gad a blast!! Great prices. Awesome portions. Everything is perfect. Our lovely server (I feel bad but I forgot her name) found out that it was my birthday and gave me a birthday cinnamon bun. The whole place sang happy happy birthday to me. It was totally on expected and it made my day. Get: biscuits and gravy. The pancakes. Any omlette. This is now my spot whenever I'm in the area :)"
