"Wife and I visited for dinner. She ordered egg drop soup and had a special request for schezchan shrimp. I ordered the poke bowl. The soup was brought to the table promptly. Her shrimp dish arrived not soon after. The timing could have been a little better. The waitress told us the poke bowl would be out momentarily, which ended up being almost a half hour. By that time my wife had finished her meal. The waitress was apologetic but really didn’t seem sincere. The poke bowl was very good, and my wife enjoyed hers as well. I can’t blame the waitress for the delay in my dinner. It seems the kitchen help needs some intensive training on proper timing and delivering of prepared dishes. Due to the experience we had, there is a very good chance this will be our first and last time we will patronize this establishment."
"The sushi was still amazing. Tried new ones today. I loved their tornado premium roll so much, the taste was well balanced. I highly recommend this place."
"We picked up takeout from here when we stopped for the night on a long road trip. We were caught off guard when they told us it was a 30 minute wait for take out, (we are used to this kind of take out being delivered pretty much before you are off the phone when you call ahead) but it was worth the wait. The Lemon chicken was battered and not breaded, and they gave a lot of the lemon sauce on the side. The mongolian beef was a bit on the sweet side, and we also ordered chicken fried rice which came with bean sprouts (we had never seen that before). Overall the food was good, worth the wait and had large portions. We also had no reactions allergy-wise (Shellfish) which is always great."
"Where to begin; we decided to an impromptu celebration of the missus new job and she craved sushi. However with the weather being what it is she didnt want to travel far so we elected for the local choice. Now, I dont eat sushi so i can only give what her side of it is as best i can, but lets do this in order. We arrived before dinner rush as our norm, plenty of staff and seated instantly, unfortunately thats where the staff side ended. During the course of the visit, or waitress rarely made eye contact, didnt smile and seemed more intereated in what was going on around her than the table she was at. For appetizers, i love me some potstickers. They arrived hot... i mean hot hot... i had to cut them open to vent them to be able to eat them. Thats not a complaint, just a heads up. The filling was flavorful, and the outer shell fried nicely, my only complaint was that outer shell was very thick. The outside was crispy but the inside of the shell was a bit chewy for my liking. The missus had edamame, however they were a little overcooked so she wasnt a fan. Part of the wifes meal was something called Chinese Nachos, some sort of crab topped deep fried seaweed... I think... Our waitress couldnt tell us what it was (another reason the staff disappointed) but speaking straight, it was delicious. I dont know what it was, but it was packed full of flavor, the crispiness of the fried wafer with the coolness of the crab like toping was an amazing creation. I only with it was more than 6 individual bites. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice (My staple for these kinda resturaunts) and the chicken chow mein. Both come as family style dishes, with a big spoon for serving. Honestly each plate probably served 3 helpings so for the price and quantity, its a steal. Quality on the other hand was only so so. The chicken was flavorful but the rice and the chow mein were both overcooked. The veggies in them were fresh but i felt it lacked flavor, like it had been made and reheated. It wasn't bad, it just wasnt very good either. The missus had one of the sushi boxes (comes with different rolls and runs about 30 bucks, i dont recall the name). There was something off putting about the sushi rice. She described it like a vinegary flavor that over powered the other ingredients (e.g. Fish, avocado, etc). Visually they looked amazing, but she ended up picking the fish off the sushi to enjoy it without the rice. All in all, the trip wasn't bad. If your looking for average Chinese food, that isnt wallet breaking then the wok isnt a bad choice. If your looking for quality and/or sushi, I would suggest broadening your search to include a bit of travel."
"Great sushi, staff and atmosphere. I went for sushi with some friends. It was a pretty kickback place. The man making our sushi was awesome, fast and friendly. I will definitely be going back. Went back and had curry chicken(level 5 heat), wasn’t as spicy as I expected but good flavor. The waitress for the evening was a new lady so everything took a while but it was still relaxing and enjoyable. The food came out pretty fast even though the establishment was busy, and everything tasty."
