"Edit: 01/12/2024: my husband and I wanted to try this place again, after waiting 15 minutes and the waitress never even looked at us, we got up to leave and she came over to us and said, " are you leaving because it's too expensive?" I told her it was because of her attitude!!!!! This chick is an idiot. Please get rid of her and find someone more competent. The atmosphere was really nice and small. The service was mediocre, and the food was lacking. I'm not from Fernley, Nevada. I am from California, so with that being said I just think it was OK. The beef teriyaki combo was $25.00 and it took to long to come out of the kitchen and when it did, I feed it to my dogs. If was horrible. I definitely won't be going back but it was definitely an experience."

"I've been wanting to try Sushi Moto but I've heard so many mixed reviews about it that I have been going to Reno every time I craved some sushi. Decided to try it for myself after seeing some more recent good reviews. And I'm glad I did! The food was great with one exception and the service was good as well. The rolls were well made and the nigiri was good. The meal was fantastic and I was surprised at how good the Jalapeno Poppers were, too. I'll definitely be back. The only thing that wasn't good were the massive sticks of imitation crab. My friend ordered that and wished he hadn't. He thought it would be real crab. Had the stick of crab been a lot smaller it might have been more tolerable, but either way it just wasn't good."

"We just moved here and we wanted to find a good sushi place instead of driving to Reno. I read some of the bad reviews on here, and I was nervous but after the experience we had, I wonder who hurt the people who left those bad reviews. This place was not only delicious, but the atmosphere and the service was amazing. We also had people sitting next to us who were so friendly asking about my guys dish, (he got the bulgogi) because it looked and smelled delicious! The two sushi chefs are young but SO incredibly talented. My sushi was perfection. I brought a roll home and it was still delicious! We found our favorite sushi place in Fernley!"

"I was hesitant after reading a lot of the reviews on here however we decided to try it out anyway as we are moving into the area and needed to know. Well I was very pleasantly surprised we went for lunch so unfortunately there appetizers options were limited but the sushi itself was very good. The service was equally as good we barley had to wait inbetween rolls coming out. Will absolutely be going back. Also wanted to note we get sushi weekly in Reno and this place as far as quality goes is up there with our favorite places in Reno."
