El Pollo Loco,

"I believe in when you're at work to have fun. But when you're having fun and you're screwing people's orders up for getting items in the order that's when you need to stop the fun because you're losing control. I order a double chicken bowl every time I come in to this restaurant. But when you pay for that and you don't get what you order that pisses me off because you're paying a premium for this food. When I write in to the customer service and nothing happens that pisses me off even more. That's the El Pollo loco in Sparks Nevada. Almost every other fast food restaurant when they mess up they make it right this El Pollo loco I guess thinks they're better than everyone else and that they don't have to make orders right. Just my opinion and rant overpaying for food that you don't get."

"Hopefully things can change here. I’ve had an issue every time I’ve been here and sadly don’t have the time to drive to NW Reno to get El Pollo. Either food is missing from the order, or service is horrible. Tonight was a new one, I tried using my rewards points, the app kept telling me I used it and the manager told me I can’t open the app until I place my order in store . This has NEVER happened in years of going to different El Pollo restaurants. Manager Rosie is adamant this happens if you try to redeem a coupon prior to ordering food, again, I redeem in the drive thru without issues all the time. So, she says what they can do is give me an $8.00 coupon and even showed it to me…They take $1.79 off and then tell me that is the coupon? I don’t know if corporate needs to get involved, but that’s not ok. To top it off, the cashier didn’t scan my code because they told me to sign out and sign back in. lol. So I asked how I get my points for tonight’s order and they said I can’t…. Honestly at this point between all the constant errors and poor service it’s worth the drive to NW to eat at an El Pollo that is operated much better. Hope something can change because it’s disappointing :("

"My wife and I ordered 4 chicken avocado tacos, and two BRC burritos. 3 different staff members tried to take our order and absolutely messed up our entire order. All 4 tacos didn’t have avocado and both burritos had no beans. We didn’t even eat our food and it was $25.. The staff was all standing around and truly didn’t care that they took our money and gave us horrible food to eat with our family. We used to go here once a month and we will never be back. What a horrible horrible el pollo loco!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!"

"Recently ate at El Pollo Loco in Sparks while staying in a motel in the area. For some reason, the Pollo Locos seem to be our go to when we are in the Reno/Sparks area, but this was the first time we had gone inside to eat at this location. There was a short line, that moved quickly, and for us, before we were able to get our drinks, the order was ready. We both had the Original Pollo Bowl, and for $5, it was a bargain. It was OK, we usually have a tostada salad and a 3 pc meal, but tonight we were working with a budget. It was dinnertime, but the line continued to move, so no one had much of a wait. Good location, fast service."

"The service was great, but the food.. nada. I usually order the Double Chicken Avocado salad (two of them) and I've never had a bad salad. Today's salad looked amazing, however, the chicken on the salad looks different (looks overly seasoned) and is so salty I cannot eat it. That means i'll not be eating the second salad i bought for tomorrow either and am out $20.00. I also noticed a couple new but similar salads on the menu that come with some kind of chile seasoning - i wonder if that's what I actually got. If so, it's terrible."
