Reviews
"Tacos Tijuana Cantina has the best mexican food in Reno. I tried for the first time one of their breakfast menu options (El Favorito, see picture) and was so happy with my order. Will definitely visit them to try other options from their very rich menu. 5 stars ✨"
"The best thing was the enchilada sauce. The salsa was ok. I don't like the container it's served in. it very hard to get salsa after a few chips. I asked if they had any more salsas and they did bring out another red and green salsa. I wish they served all 3 at once. The chips were very cookie cutter not authentic at all tasted like chips from casco. The servers were spot on very attentive. Filled my soda up when it was 3/4 empty. The food was very heavy. Great place for cocktails and heavy Mexican food. Nothing was very special but still fun to visit."
"Happy hour prices were great as was the service. The food, was just average. I am still looking for traditional and delicious al pastor tacos shaven from a trompo and served with pineapple! This place isn’t it. If you want good Americanized Mexican food, this is a great option."
"Food so bad we felt like we were robbed on the streets of TJ. $130 with tip of 20% for our server because he was pleasant and provided excellent service. Margaritas were sugary, syrupy messes even with us paying an extra $8 per extra shot for each of them. We ordered the El pastor Trompo. It was a tower of something that resembled in taste and color of BBQ Korean Beef. The fat on it was so tough I had a pile of trimings I could not chew. The "gueso" dip that comes with is literally a block of cheese that is just melted. No seasonings...just melted cheese. The chips taste like corn fritos. Everyone who worked there was so pleasant. The restaurant appears clean. It's just really bad food. Sorry guys. Won't be back."
"Had a great experience here. Service was beyond my expectations. The food was great. I was here to order to go. I decided to dine in after all. It was also also happy hour too. I wasn't there for that either, but hey, why not have one drink. Birria Tacos and a Michelada all for under 20 bucks. Will be back before I leave back home."
