"Rented a kayak here and highly recommend for dog-friendliness! They have their own little beach you can launch from (behind the store, by the dam) which IS dog friendly, some other businesses launch from Commons Beach, and the beach itself unfortunately does not allow dogs. There is a two hour minimum for rentals as well. Had a blast!"

"I rented 2 single kayaks, 2 double kayaks, and 2 SUPs for our wedding in September 2018 and they were so great to work with! I highly recommend them for any of your outdoor needs. They were great in communication via email, very responsive and helpful (especially Kristine) and helped us figure out the best rental set up for our group. Kristine called a few days before our wedding to confirm and was just so sweet! They dropped the equipment off at a specified address right at the set 9 AM time and pick up the next morning for a one day rental. The equipment itself was in good shape, all worked great and came with paddles and life jackets. We loved having this memory in large part thanks to Willard's!"

"Willard's has been a Tahoe staple for 30+ years. Best boot fitters around and Dax the shop owner knows more about skis than anyone I've ever met. Great demo selection too. Don't bother going anywhere else. You can't fit boots on the internet or take them back to get worked on, so do yourself a favor and go with a local shop that knows how to treat customers"
