Power Lodge Ramsey

"My wife and I stopped by Power Lodge on Tuesday 2/27 around 5:30 and were greeted by Tyler Rieland. Knowing it was late in the day, we made our stay rather quick. He showed us several UTVs and we asked him for quotes on 3. He said it'd take about and hour, and this point it was roughly 6:00 pm (closing time). We talked and we were going to sleep on it before we made a decision and told him he could email us the quotes the following morning. Wednesday morning came and went without any contact so I sent an email and followed up with a phone call (leaving a message) a couple of hours later, both of which went unanswered. I called his cell on Thursday which went to voicemail (I left one). Finally, on Friday (3/1) morning he sends the quotes. My wife and I reviewed and settled on a UTV. Saturday morning we made our way back to Ramsey from our home in Plymouth ready to buy a new UTV! We asked some basic questions (what's the difference between the sport and HO models, what's the difference between the 800cc and 950cc in HP, etc.) which all needed to be looked up. I then started inquiring about pricing and wanting to negotiate. Tyler's response was that he needed to speak to his manager about the rebates. He stepped away for a few moments and then informed us that the quote he sent to us not 24 hours prior was not correct because the rebates had expired. In looking at the quote while sitting at his desk, NO rebates were listed ANYWHERE on the quote which I called out to him. His response was that they were built into the price. At that point, I got up, told him he could tear up the quotes and then walked out. Tyler, you missed out on a sale. Power Lodge, you've lost a customer for good. While your Onamia location is on the way to our cabin, I'll go out of my way every time to work with a business that isn't pulling shady crap like this. By the way, we did buy a UTV on Saturday from Chopper City Sports in Fridley. Their sales team was actually knowledgeable, thoughtful, helpful, enthusiastic and didn't act like they hated their job like Tyler. Take your money elsewhere, people. It's really not worth the hassle."

"We went in to buy a side by side. We had been looking online and found a few options. First they inform us that they don’t have a bunch of the UTVs. Fine the website hasn’t refreshed from sales but then they info us the pricing that is on their website wouldn’t be honored and their rebates went away. They are not honoring their advertised prices. We were told they didn’t control their website. We walked out because we didn’t want to purchase from a place like won’t honor their word."
