"Nice little spot. Went on a pretty quiet day and enjoyed a half serving of biscuits and gravy, over easy eggs and candied bacon. Limited indoor seating but you can always take things to go or eat outside. Fast service. Very tasty."

"The quality of the food you can taste and it is delicious. But it is quite pricey for the portions. I’ve had breakfast a few times now and it seems to depend on who the cook is at the time for how great your sandwich will be made. One day my sandwich was stacked and plated beautifully and the sandwich held together well and then may be a week or two later I got the same sandwich but it was falling apart in my hands and it didn’t feel like food I was the last time I got it. So they need to work on their consistency a little bit but the quality of their food is very good."

"What a treat! We had a nice easy-going breakfast with wonderful bread (and other fresh ingredients). We enjoyed the option to have a classic breakfast or something a little more modern — the Turkish eggs were spectacular. The Kitchen is a “pub-style” building right next door to the bakery — you order at the counter and they’ll give you a number for you table. It’s small (four tables) but wonderful. We expect it will soon be packed but we’ll be back time and time again."

"Do you want local, high quality food? The best way to describe this new kitchen is that they treat food full of integrity, and because of that it’s one of the best local breakfast/brunch/lunch in all of Tahoe. They treat each dish particularly and we are very impressed with the high quality and attention to detail for each food item. This kitchen would challenge any boutique breakfast/brunch spot in the Bay Area, but we now have it here in Truckee. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had and by far the best potatoes (which come on the side with every breakfast sandwich). Come check this place out and let’s keep this wonderful spot around because they deserve it. Cheers mate"
