"GICS is wonderful for our family. The small class sizes and amazing teachers set the students up for academic sucess. We found that after graduating from here, our kids moved into the local public school and have been ahead academically. I believe this is because GICS allows students to learn in very small groups at their own (tested) level and not just simply at their grade level for both math and reading. It is a simple concept that works very well!"

"We love Green Isle Community School! It is such a small school that your kids do not fall through the cracks like they can in bigger schools. There is such a family/community feel in the school. All three of our kids say they like it. One of the huge perks of this school is that they have a lot more movement than traditional public schools. There is gym every day and of course recess as well. But there is also more movement because there is a lot of hands on projects as it is a project based school. Another huge perk of this school is that it seems to focus on our children's strengths as well which really helps them flourish!"
