"Although the teacher of my son was kind and nice, I am very disappointed in school particularly. Starting with the bus service, overall school experience of my son was not pleasing and good. Multiple times he reported me bad behaviors and racist comments by other students on him and no action was taken. Worst was the bus! I have seen student standing all the way to school on the freeway when bus is moving 65-70 m/hr. This is serious safety concern which I reported multiple times and never taken in consideration. I know parents should tell kids to be sitting all time in moving bus but it is bus drivers responsibility too. School should also take drills and teach kids bus manners. Took $50 for the school t-shirt and quality was not even $5 worth. Every single month they ask for donations but facility wise there is very less. This school is not close to any charter school standards you would expect it to be."
"We are so truly disappointed in this school. Our twins were physically harmed, bullied and also were shown private parts to them. The school said it’s just silliness. They didn’t take any action and when I did finally hear back after the third incident. It had been over 16 hours. And that was after the most concerning of the three. I understand you are going to have bad behaviors at every school. But it’s about how it is taken care of and approached. I asked the school to have the kids school supplies set aside at the office so I could pick them up. They had the bag set outside. That was the most horrible feeling. Basically saying how unwelcome we were. I asked to speak to the principal and no one would get her. I asked for a call back in regard to the fundraising event that the twins had been helping raise money for. I asked if the people who donated for the twins to be reimbursed. The superintendent said it’s a third party and she wasn’t going to do anything about it. I asked for a call back when she finds out. And she just looked at me and said no. It’s pretty sad that I had to switch my twins because they didn’t feel protected or safe. I didn’t feel like they were being protected or kept safe. At what point is it taken more serious and not silly? Is it because we are Asian? Is it because we don’t come from money? Please tell me at what point do you take things seriously and make my children feel safe?"
"BEST SCHOOL EVER!!! The teachers and staff are so nice and funny. The lunch is so delicious. And they actually teach you stuff unlike my old school. I don’t why I wasn’t here since kindergarten"
"I am so thankful to have a choice in where my children get to go to school. This school has been such a gift for both of my very different boys. The teachers, administration, para's and all the support staff have been all positive and supportive, especially during a very divisive time. Thank you Cologne!"
