"Joe and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. Probably one of the cheapest options for getting your conceal and carry (most are $100+ and we paid about $65 AND if your wife/girlfriend is uncertain they can come and pay at the end if they want to get their certificate). Joe is very women empowering and offers women specific classes for those who may not be comfortable taking the class with men. Time went by fast and he was very entertaining. Would definitely recommend his class. He also offers other services (such as selling guns and training on how to shoot). (He also brought up in his course, if you have a restraining order and fear for your safety, he offers a discount for you to take his corse just give him a call)"

"DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT take this course. I find it hard to find the words to describe the utter disappointment in this class but I will attempt to with the following: I was recommended this course and after seeing the review online I figured that the negative reviews were isolated instances, but not this time. This course is to be taken seriously and to learn about the basics of conceal carrying in MN. From the 3 hr course we focused on 5 power point slides and that was it in terms learning anything. Joe just spoke about himself and how he knows what is right in this world. I was furious that I took my relative, first time CCW applicants, as there was nothing that was learned. If you consider yourself a respectable, diligent, and responsible gun owner you SHOULD NOT take this class or recommend it to anyone else. Class consisted of: 9-10:30- Rants about the world and explanation of his dogmatic political views, self-admiration, how he is a sewing machine technician, how wealthy he was with his multiple businesses, his 2 airplane engine failures, his 2 cabins and how a deer lived in one for about 14 days, his home and vehicle insurance policies... he was all over the place. 10:30-11- Power point slides, we probably saw 8 slides total, but focused on 5. There were over 30 slides that were skipped 11-11:45- Attempted to sell us purses, price gouged on his 8 year old ammunition, and more self-promoting talks... DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE."
