"I called them and told me to wait 20 minutes. It was 30 minutes after I first called, I didn’t mind waiting for them, so then I called them back to tell me 10 more minutes. Maybe I told them the wrong address during the 10 minutes? Called back to find out that I was wasting their time. During the whole 45 minutes I kept telling them the right address but blamed me for wasting their time."

"Driver was outside the airport yelling at people and drivers about being in the wrong lane due to construction. Extremely rude. It was definitely your company. Black SUV (Escalade?) with your logo/name phone # on back windshield in dark font (how I knew who to write review for). Driver in dark suit and sunglasses waiting for to pick up someone."

"We called AAA Taxi as a referral from Avis, as there were no rental cars in Sioux Falls that could be dropped off at in Yankton. The driver called and was running a bit late (which was not an issue for us). When the car arrived at the hotel to pick us up, I was a bit taken back. - while the young girl was extremely pleasant and very apologetic about the car, I feel she was truly only "the messenger" and we certainly had an option to decline the ride but anyone reading reviews of transportation services in Sioux Falls realizes that these services are very limited - the owner of the company is truly at fault here not the driver. The girl explained how she was the only driver that would take us the 120 miles away and that she had worked all night - apparently this company is still short of staff. She was in her pajamas; we had to move the oil cans and car parts from the back storage space of the very dirty Ford Escape in order to place our two suitcases and two small carry on bags in the back; we were unable to both fit in the backseat; the interior of the car was laden with what appeared to be dog hair and trash and the backseat would not adjust properly so it was pushed forward - not very comfortable for such a long drive. My advice: check out the other companies and verify the type of vehicle they offer. I did not attempt to contact the other two referrals from Avis at the airport but certainly wish I had - I can't believe they could have been worse or even more expensive."

"Extremely poor service! A little over a month ago I tried to call AAA/Surf Taxi in Sioux Falls fora pick up from the airport and they wouldn’t even answer the phone. I decided to give them a second chance when we were recently flying out of town. I called the day before our flight to schedule a pickup at our home. I wanted to ensure that I had an appointment as it was an early morning pickup. We were waiting at our home we’ll before the pickup time but the taxi never showed. I kept trying to call them (for 20 minutes) to see if they were on the way and they would not answer their phone. My wife and I were finally out of time and drove our own vehicle to the airport, resulting in over one hundred dollars in long term parking fees. I tried to contact the taxi company to register a complaint but the address they have on the internet is incorrect. I called and told them of the extra expenses they cost us and was told that it wasn’t their fault. I would not recommend AAA/Surf Taxi as they don’t do well at following through on they’re commitments and do not have a good record of even answering their phone."

"This is the worst Taxi service I have ever encounter. I use the about two week ago and they said they would be there to pick me up in 15 min. It took them 45 min. They charged me $10 to go a mile an a half. Tonight I gave them another chance and was told they would be there in 20 min. It took them 50 min and then they wanted to charge me $15 to go the same mile an a half plus the passenger door didn't. Don't use them. I will never again."
