"My family has been going to this river since I can remember. We go every year during the summer. It’s such a great place to relax and enjoy family time."
"Awesome park and protects a beautiful river! The Cossatot is a river that starts in the Ouchitas and is protected all along this park, so it is 100% natural. I went when there wasn’t much rain and the water was still going quick. Definitely will come back to whitewater kayak"
"Really nice park and the river is beautiful. Trails are well marked and easy to follow. River corridor trail is 12.5 miles. Been on this trail a few times now and never seen anyone on it. People usually swim where the trail starts. I’ve backpacked upstream and floated back. Very peaceful and beautiful trip."
"Nice trails in some of the areas. A tree was down over the stairs so we couldn't go that route even if we wanted to. We went across the river and that trail was pretty easy. The views are spectacular. The park was pretty clean. The visitor center was really very nice."
"Absolutely loved this area, will be back again! We came in at night & it was super hard to follow the signs to get to the falls campsite area. We seriously thought we were lost, GPS in the vehicle didn't register the roads and we had zero cell service, its advisable to print out any directions you need & carry a hard copy map! The river corridor trail was gorgeous! We made it to the Ed Banks area & had to turn around due to the water rushing over the trail. So may beautiful wildflowers, several numbered bridges to cross & beautiful water falls to capture!"
