"I advise you to get a clear understanding of their "fair housing policy" (in writing if possible) before you pay your hard earned money and return the application. This place "SEEMS" to accept application FEE$ they have no intention to approve in the first place. I asked them were certain things okay before I submitted the application and was told it would be fine BEFORE I returned it. I have requested documents several times from this establishment and have been completely ignored. Not acceptable for a business! I would proceed with the utmost caution. I have been separated from my husband for quite a while and was told that I have to have divorce papers or he would have to sign the lease despite me advising "her" (I know her name, just rather not post it) that in NO circumstance would he be living there, I was told "couples break up and get back together all the time". I was given contradicting reasons as to why I didn't qualify, asked for proof and never got a response. I'm not so much upset about being denied, what upsets me the most is the not listening, rushing, ignoring, and contradicting statements. I felt completely disregarded and disrespected and discriminated against just to be completely honest."
