"Over the past couple of months, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Brenda, in hopes of getting my life back on track and to grow a stronger, more personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. At first, I was apprehensive, and very much cynical about the idea of working with a female leader, given the extent of my personal issues and needs for growth. I thought, “only a godly man would be of any use”. I could not have been more wrong. Over the course of my 44 years, I have struggled with addiction, relationships, communication, anger… you name the sin, I struggled with it. I spent the last couple of years working with other Christian counselors, and those of the secular world to try and address and correct the patterns and nature of my shortcomings… but to no avail. That is until I stepped into Brenda‘s office. Brenda Greig is not a counselor, no… She is a disciple ordained by God Himself! Exposing my vulnerabilities to her became natural as I could feel the spirit of the Lord sitting next to me whenever I would come to visit. From the time I was a young boy, I was told, “just give it to Jesus”! What does that even mean? Well, now I can truly say that I understand, and because of this, Brenda is making a disciple out of me! I never thought it was possible to walk out of someone’s office feeling so convicted yet so encouraged at the same time. If you’ve never experienced it, it is truly humbling and oh so worth it! It wasn’t a godly man that I needed, and God knew that. Instead, he gave me just what I needed by sending one of His true disciples to get through to me on a very personal level.
