"Great, serene location with no cell signal. Don't miss going up to Pam's Grotto. The vault toilets were clean and well supplied. The sheriff came by to tell us the closest location with cell service."
"Visited here for a day. Nice place to play in the water. The kids enjoyed jumping off the rocks etc. The water is pretty shallow so be aware. We had no cell phone service in this area so plan accordingly also."
"This is an awesome little free campground. It has about 10 spots and 2 vault toilets. No trash or water so ALWAYS pack it in and pack it out. Gets a little busy during the weekend but during the week is amazing! A couple of smaller trails along the back of sites 6 and 7 I think and the Ozarks Highland trail starts up again across the street from the campground sign. It is a flash flood area so keep that in mind if camping during rainy seasons. Although someone does come through and warns you and also cleans the toilets."
"We loved this campground. Free! Two vault toilets that were clean. Fills up quickly on the weekends, but most people head out Sunday morning. Right on the OHT! Tons of points of interest within a few miles. You do have to drive through a few inches of water, especially if it has rained recently."
"Nice little campground with Haw Creek Falls right there. Unfortunately, the Forest Service has decided to decommission it. It will remain open but maintenance will pretty much cease. If a heavy rain comes you will be trapped if Haw Creek rises much."
