Clarksville Laundromat

"This used ti be a great facility. It has slid down hill rapidly over the several months. All 27 regular washers, 2 of the $4 washers, both $5 washers, and 11 of the dryers are out of service for some time now. This leaves you with 1 $7 and 6 $4 washers and 8 dryers. Snack vending machine is empty and unplugged for past several months. Soap, bleach, and Softner bending machine has been sold out for a while now. The quarted channer is always working whenever I come. The restroom was locked this morning, but last time I was here the sink was broke off the wall, and I have never seen toilet paper of hand soap available. I talked with the attendant a few weeks ago regarding all of this, and he said the owners know of all issues and they will not be fixing any of the issues. That being said, I imagine the place eithet closing down or selling within the next few months. Including the 2 vending and quarter changer they have a total of 61 machines at this location and only 15 of them are in operation. Why would one allow for 75%of his business to be down and do nothing about it? Pathetic in my opinion."

"Only 1 dryer and 2 big washers, all the smaller washers are working. From what I'm told, a Mormons owns it and won't fit. If they don't want to fit the stuff, then close it down or go e it to someone who will take care of and fits the machines"

"Update: 3/31/23 [ have now used the dryers here 4 times and will continue to do so until I get my dryer fixed. I may not even fix it. I like doing laundry as a rule. I like it even more when a washer load of laundry is dry in 12 minutes and it only cost 50 cents, on medium heat! Original: Because I have had to use the laundromat again temporarily I took an extra close look. I have been coming for one month. For the first time, many of the machines were out of order. Fri 2/3 only one that I saw. The whole place seems dirty. I took a very good look at the inside of the machines and touched the tables and floors. I concluded everything is reasonably clean, it is just too dark. If the old cement floors were painted a light color it would brighten up the place so you could see it was clean. If it wasn't, well accidents happen but if you can see the dirt easily, it is a lot easier and quicker to get it cleaned up."

"Giving it just 1 star because it’s super expensive, half the time most of the machines don’t work, and the worst part for me is the guy they have “managing” the place. My husband went in to use the coin machine and he told him that it’s people like us that ruin it for everyone else, we could just go to the bank and get quarters! I’m poor too, so I’m not sure where he got his information from but he should mind his business! He stares at you, makes rude comments, and interrogates potential customers. I use other laundromats when I need to because of this."

"Still only three of the 26 standard machines are working. The place needs a deep cleaning and a gas leak fixed. The standard machines cost $3 which is higher than most places we have been lately. If this is the best laundromat in Clarksville, I would hate to see the worst one."
