"I think the impatient with Granite Falls definitely has very good positives. Also with that when court ordered as last resort to prison people will " tell them what they want to hear." People of older than +45 yrs old. It is hard to break bad habits and routines, which both counseling and group classes and therapy. This is the first time meeting and in less than average 90 days. Patients are gone to a half way house in Marshall, MN for the Men. They barely see there same counselors and house rules are violated...etc phones after 10:30 p.m, others and themselves can sign out and drive there own vehicles, which I'm sure counselor's do not have access to there keys to look through. So drugs, lotto tickets( gambling addiction they treat in Granite Falls). The attitude is read these papers u already did and ask someone else. But my main concern is on average between 3-6 months. you DO NOT SEE the same licensed therapist, a phycologist is a very personal relationship u build trust in to be honest, discuss, tell secrets, argue, and learn to handle the situations that choice within drugs to cope! U do not develop a relationship to hold u accountable of contributing to in yourself lies, family lies, and relationship lies!!!!!!!! Finding alone a therapist u can trust and build a trusting open communication that can be relied on to develop to true healing can not happen in 6 months cut off and then no contact. Therapy is a continuous effort for YEARS! What people don't see is therapists seeing therapists to cope with situations and family life of deep dark secrets a whole careers 30+. So how do you expect bouncing and bouncing can have anything positive, there simply no stability. But treatment centers do earn from state insurance companies putting people in prison the state owes personally NOT tax payers. And let's be honest the price of pills actual cost if u needed to pay out of pocket for meds hundreds. Impatient treatment centers around $45,000 and more!!!! Just a loop hole for tax payers to pay into protecting a community when problems at core values are not fixed, revolving doors."

"Did it scare you the first day you got here? If so, you are just fearing the unknown. This place makes Recovery not Relapse. Which one do you choose?"

"This place really is what you make it, a lot of the comments on other reviews are exaggerated and not true. There is structure and rules but that is to be expected. If you work a good program and are honest with staff they really work with you and I can say personally they have really turned my life around. I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s taking their recovery seriously."
