"The last 4 years I have used this tax location and 3 out of the 4 including this year they have left off a dependent. Then when I go to have them correct their mistake I end up getting charged again for filling threw them. It also causes the irs to hold my taxes up causing them to get back to me at the end of July/August. If done correctly the 1st time I my taxes back closer to being /middle of April. I am done. You have officially lost this customer for I'm not going to have my taxes held up anymore do this location mistakes."

"Made me wait 30 past my appointment before telling me they couldn't get to me. They had me do drop off. Then they charged me $120 more than last year, not a lot of changes in how I filed."

"I have been almost a 13 year user of H&R Block. That ended this year. I needed to switch to a new bank to put my direct deposit at. The tax preparer put in one wrong number for my account number. I paid the fee for the direct deposit. The IRS attempted to send out my federal tax return but could not due to faulty information. It got sent out as a check. Initially it was advised they would look only into refunding the direct deposit fee. I'm currently experiencing a lot of problems due to being unemployed for so long (not COVID related just no one offering to hire me). I had to initiate contact MANY, MANY times because I saw no progress being made. Either an office manager or area manager stated they would not refund me my tax prep fee but would only give a discount towards 2022 tax prep. That is HIGHLY unsatisfactory as I paid direct deposit and didn't even receive that! I got it from the state but not federal so H&R Block did not hold up their end of the bargain, nor are they willing to do what is right! I'd give them ZERO stars if I could."
