Reviews of Hot Springs Haunted Tours
"While the tour guide was very polite and mindful of both the group and passerby’s, the mic and his normal voice was not that loud to reach a group of 30+ people. The tour could’ve been spookier with more history, haunted stories and perhaps different locations. There’s enough history in Hot Springs for more of a walking tour and enough abandoned buildings to provide the atmosphere. (I.e., start or end at the hospital and perhaps go inside a bit). Overall good, perhaps not worth $15 dollars, maybe $10, but could be better."
"We absolutely loved going on the hot springs haunted tour. Learned lots of interesting history and lots of great morbid facts! Austin was a wonderful guide, humorous and very knowledgeable. The only thing that could have made it better was getting to be inside these famous buildings at the time of the storytelling. Though at the West Mountain part of the tour, I did walk into a cold spot in the middle of 77° weather. Try it I hope you enjoy it"
"I loved this tour. So much interesting information about Hot Springs’ colorful but morbid history. Our guide was great, and we learned a lot. Perfect introduction to our couple of days in the area."
"Tiffany did a good job with the tour. She was on time and was very knowledgeable. Her jokes need a little work lol. But it was all in good fun. The tour is completely outside and you do not enter any of the buildings. The tour ends at the end of the main strip past the Arlington hotel. I personally think a tour like this should end at the same place you begin but I am not the operator of the tour so it’s just my opinion. All in all it’s still an interesting tour and it is entertaining. If your looking for a super professional really involved tour this isn’t it. But it is family friendly and it is something to do."
"Definitely informative and the tour guide Terry was funny and talkative. We walked for about a mile ending at Rolandos on the parking lot hill where vehicles coming in can barely see you, so a bit dangerous for young kids. We went by 5 locations and there was 78 in our group. We did learn some interesting facts at each location. But it was super hard to hear him, so get up close to him if you really want to hear the stories. I think our favorite was the facts behind the huge veteran building on the corner "the death castle". Not sure we'd pay $15 a person to do it again though lol. We felt like it was a $10 tour quality. Great atmosphere downtown though!"
