"After speaking with Brandon Freeman and explaining our A/C issues we decided to cancel the order of parts and repair from 'another' company that diagnosed our A/C the day before for two reasons: (1) my husband had a gut feeling regarding the repairman’s knowledge and understanding (2) one of the parts stated that we needed was, in my husband’s opinion, excessive; after Googling the cost of said part, he believed it was excessive. In speaking with Brandon and hearing what he felt was the first step—replacing part ‘X’ first—before any further issues could be determine—made perfect sense. We were told that after ‘X’ was replaced then any other possible problems with our system could be diagnosed. My husband mentioned the cost of ordering and installing the part that he felt was excessive and he asked Brandon for an estimate. Brandon looked up the Model Number/Serial Number of our A/C and quoted the replacement cost to be half the cost of the previous company’s invoice bill! To boot, we didn’t need that part after all. Had we stuck with the original company that came to evaluate our A/C we would have paid $1,600 for a part that didn’t require replacing. The first thing we did, due to how pleased we were with Freeman Heat and Air, was to recommend them to our best friends and neighbor, who was also having A/C issues. Sadly, they had the company we first called fix theirs just days before. Our neighbor stated he was surprised how expensive it was--he didn't do what we had done: call another A/C company. Then we told him about the cost of a part that we didn’t even need and how much ‘that’ company would have charged us ($1,600) and stated how Freeman would have done it for half the cost ‘had our system required its replacement.’ Freeman has a new customer when and if our neighbors have any further problems with their A/C.
