"This so called business kept my $50 deposit, never fixed my tv. Now he will not give me my TV or deposit back. Checked with the city, he doesn't have a business license. Now he will go to jail. Messed over the wrong ones this time."

"He has had my set for 2 weeks now with no response of any kind to repeated calls. I have a receipt I guess I shall have to contact Legal Shield. Unfortunate the fella seemed nice enough. I received a call after i posted the first time telling me they stopped making the part ect. I called Sony a remote censor can be ordered for that model from Sony. He asked me to wait he wanted to make this right for me. I have sense been by the shop 3 times nobody is ever there morning or night. I want my television back in the same shape it was in or fixed. I am not sure that would be possible I am very disappointed in the Gentleman. He took my money and has been extremely unprofessional. if it could not be fixed he has known this for some time now and has kept my 50 dollars and my TV. I will never use this service again I am sending a letter Via My Attorney's to the Better Business Bureau. and I may seek financial compensation. Shame on me for trusting A-1. He will not give my television back I called him from my place of work and he tried to talk over me it has been 2 years now. I wish I had other recourse but a judgement against a criminal is not worth the paper it is written on. I have contacted channel 5 for the Buyer beware summer HEAT program. I don't want him to take anyone else. My television worked beautifully I paid 400 dollars for it all it needed was the remote access that he said he could not get and I have one sitting at my house I ordered it online. What a liar *HE IS A CONMAN*"

"Warning. Very nice at first. I knew what was wrong with my tv and just needed it replaced. He charged me $50 up front which I expected and then another $190 upon completion. The price was high in my opinion but I agreed to pay it. We made an arrangement that he would hold on to tv until I paid off the rest. I made two payments and was going to make my third and final payment and pick up tv 1 month later. He told me it wasn't working and asked me if I wanted to sell it to him. I told him no and asked why it wasn't working. He responded that the picture is messed up. That was the whole reason I brought it to him. He said he had to replace 4 other parts and would not let me see the parts he replaced or the info where he said he had to order from. He then jacked the price up another $50 and said I have to pay it to get my tv. In the end I got my broken tv back and it cost me $110 :(. Please read your reviews before choosing this guy. I called Halls electronics and told them the situation. They usually charge $50 upfront but gave me a deal because I'm not the first person to come to them after this guy."

"Please disregard any negative reviews posted for A -1 Television Services, I have had the pleasure of doing business with his repair service. He was polite and courteous and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and had it repaired within 24 hours. He is very fair with his pricing. If you need a television repaired, I would definitely recommend his services."
