THERE SOMETHING SHIRLEY DOES FOR The COMMUNITY, THAT MOST OF THE COMMUNITY HASNT A CLUE OF AND THAT IS PROVIDE FLOWER ARRANGEMENTS TO THE PUBLIC FOR OUR LOVE ONES WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY. AT ALMOST HER COST . SHIRLEY IS A REMARKABLE AND CARING WOMAN. WHO CARES ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY AND THE PEOPLE AROUND HER."

"It’s a great place to find vintage clothes and Shirley is a nice and fare lady but there’s a blond lady who works here and she is pretty rude, my friend needed to return something and she had said some rude comments to us that we did not appreciate. And told us she should have tried it on in the dressing room that they just put up and that they weren’t a “Walmart”. And I pointed out that the curtains on the dressing room are see though and it’s by the front entrance...she responded that it’s not a big deal that they are see through cause “ it’s just them in there) excuse me if I’m trying on clothes I don’t want anyone I am not comfortable with being able to see me indecent, especially a little child or elderly gentleman coming into the store. After some haggling they let us do the return."

"tbh, i’ve gone to Shirley’s since i was a lil girl and they’ve all been so nice, but this visit i had was really disappointing. i had to return an item due to it not fitting. instead of being kind about it like you’re supposed to be, Shirley & her employee, a tall, older, blonde were nothing but plain rude. even with the employee going towards the back to speak to Shirley, my friend and i could hear them saying how we should’ve known our size and should have tried it on before buying. well sorry. swimsuit sizes can vary depending on the maker. also Shirley’s NEVER had a changing room until she told me about it and tbh no one would want to change in it. it’s right beside the front desk. the “curtains” are super thin and see through. it was honestly a lil makeshift of a dressing room. i am deeply disappointed in this once wonderful thrift store as well as Shirley and her employee. you really need to do better and be better like you once were. i will not be coming back and i will be passing along the word that you are kind when someone buys, but rude when they have to return and that y’all have a makeshift changing room that honestly goes against guidelines and could get you sued for."

"One of the best Discount Stores, Second Hand Stores, Flea Market, and Bargain stores I have ever been in. Very upscale. Shirley has a very high standard when it comes to clean and well managed booths. You can tell that she and her staff take great pride in the presentation of the items in her store. I have been in the store at different times of the day and it has never looked messy, cluttered or unmanaged. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is because she has grown to the point of needing more space and a little wider aisles, but I am sure that she knows her business and will make that adjustment when the time is right. This reviewer deems Shirley's Discount Store one of Central Arkansas prides and Must Visit store!"
