"I bought the cheapest seats as a first time experience. When we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that we were upgraded to a premium car which included dinner. Car 107 could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We booked the "oops, I forgot" excursion on February 17th, 2024 because I had to work on Valentine's Day. It was a 3 1/2hr ride which provided a much needed relaxing "time out" from our every day lives. As far as I know, we were the only ones that tipped our conductors. I highly recommend everyone else does the same as they work hard to make your experience a good one."

"My husband and I love old trains. This was a great experience, involving a whole day of travel which is a plus. It wasn't just a short trip. It was 70 miles coming and 70 going. Beautiful fall colors and travel through the countryside was gorgeous. Even though it was cool and drippy/dreary with no sun, I totally recommend it. The train ride experience was good on any day."

"Lovely 3 hour train ride from Springdale to Van Buren. 3 hours to eat/ shop/enjoy and 3 hours back to Springdale. Morning and afternoon snacks served with ticket price. We enjoyed car #109."
