"Super confusing claims process."

"This company is holding my health retirement benefits that I earned and invested by law over my twenty-year LEO career. They've only paid out one claim (out of two). On my second claim, they stated they needed an itemized list of services, which I promptly provided. I received a call from them stating they had received it and would pay the claim. That was (at the time of this review) over a month ago now. I have called back a second time, but they're refusing to return my call. Edit: I was able to resolve the issue satisfactorily by writing a letter (May/June 2019) to the President of EBC whose subordinate honored my claim right away. The letter notwithstanding, I should not have been forced to appeal to authority to receive a basic service function from the company."

"As a financial professional I cannot say enough that if you are an employer run away from this company. Their three to five business processing timeline is now on day number 15 and each day they promise that this is the day they provide the signature required to remove them from the process. AWEFUL!"

"Super friendly staff and fast turnaround for funds."

"If I could rate this organization at MINUS, that is the rating I would give them, they don't even provide one-star service. They only excel at excuses and delays, there is no effort at all to provide customer service to individuals whose account funds are invested with them. As I recently found out, the individuals whose monies have been invested with them have no options or alternatives, as the employer made the decision to use them. Knowing that the individuals can not make a change provides them with NO motivation to provide service to those who individuals whose retirement health care funds are being held hostage by their lack of service. This company is awful, know who your employer is looking at assigning your money to and make sure they choose a different company!"
