Reviews of Costco Vision Center
"We went to B'ville Costco Vision Center over the past two Sundays. Kelsey waited on us both times. She did a great job finding the best way to assist my family member who has an aging related disability. My family member left with two very nice pairs of glasses that turned out great! This person was very happy and loves the new glasses. Thanks goes out to Kelsey!!"
"Great place to get glasses, got two pairs and after insurance payed only $25!"
"Customer, be informed....While both my husband and I have ordered glasses through Costco and they have been satisfactory, customers should be aware that if you go back with your glasses (that you bought a mere 2 1/2 years ago from them) they will likely not be willing to put new lenses - in your new prescription - because they claim the frames are no longer durable! Two and 1/2 years ago I took in my older expensive and high quality frames (not purchased at Costco) to have a new lens prescription put in - Nope they said...Took them to Sam's club and with an understandable extra fee (since the frame was not from them)they replaced the lenses and I am wearing those glasses today. Now I surely thought that when I took in my Costco frames (absolutely nothing wrong with them and also currently wearing) from 2 1/2 years ago that there would be no issue...Nope again...they rejected the frames for making replacement new lenses! This is ridiculous. Guess they only want the money from ordering new frames every time you get a new prescription. Apparently they think their senior members have lots of money to spend. I guess I could understand the policy for youth and those involved with high activity levels, etc. Quite frankly most seniors aren't putting that kind of wear on their glasses nor do they desire to have new frames each year or two in order to keep up with fashion! [And remember that the Lions club accepts all older glasses in order to pass on to those in need - seems the frames work well for them!] All in all there are people who really aren't interested in new frames every time they need a new prescription. Guess I will be visiting Sam's again. Extremely disappointed in Costco...."
