It’s has been designated a historical place on the US National Registry and is home to the Milacs county Historical Society, which has been able to start restoration and preservation of this property to bring it back to its architectural and historical beauty. This building is also used for voting and events while they continue to update and sort through the history of Milacs County and the impact the railway had on development of the county. This is an amazing piece of history with some very passionate volunteers that can guide you through a lot of stories and history that may surprise you about the industries and forefathers of the area.
