"Trees fallen down all over the place, signs half destroyed, tee pads and goals not even visible. One little tornado and this course goes to hell."
"Two 18 hole courses (Red and Blue) Red is more wooded and technical. Blue has forward and back tee pads so it basically plays as two different courses. Plus a 9 hole Juniors course is there as well. Something for everyone! Fun place to play"
"I love playing Disc Golf & Burns Park has two different 18 hole courses. The Red course (my fav) takes you thru the woods with plenty of obstacle while The Blue course is more open & seems to offer longer range shots. Both are well maintained while leaving nature as is."
"I gave it two chances. This is for the large corse. Not the small one. I have never played the small course. First the good. 1. The park is both wooded and open, I think most of the baskets are fun. 2. They are adaquetly challenging for beginners, and intermediate players, im not a pro so im not speaking for them. I am a casual player who enjoys the sport. 3. The park seems to be well kept. 4. The tee's are pretty well marked and after two or three full round's you'll probably figure out where the baskets are. Now for the bad. 1. Unless your with someone who's familiar with this course, expect to throw your disc at the wrong basket many, many, times. This is due to the course being squished so tightly there are baskets all over the place, and if your not familiar just be prepared to throw at the wrong basket. Why they cant afford to put the basket # on both sides of the basket is beyond me. I let that slide a little cause most courses are like that. But few are so tightly packed together. So its not nearly as necessary. 2. This is my biggest issue by far. Who in their right mind decided it was a good idea to place a disc golf park directly next to a loud and i mean LOUD! Freeway. It's so loud that I couldn't even hear my music playing. You have to yell to talk to someone 5 feet away. And let's all admit it, theres nothing better than trying to concentrate on a throw, when a semi starts engine braking no more than 50 feet away from where your throwing from. And if you dont believe me. Go to hole #7 and see for yourself. The free way road is more or less around 30 ft from the basket. I didn't measure it but it's freaking close. The entire course seems to be designed around maximum distraction and loudness possible. So if your trying to practice with a F ton of distracting noise around you. This is the course for you. Personally I strongly dislike this "park". When i go to a park i want to be in nature and in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Not just a place with trees thats so loud you can hardly think. And forget about trying to listen to some chill music while playing. Unless your trying to carry around a loud speaker. So there ya have it. Im not saying don't check this place out. You may like it. But if your anything like me at all this will probably not be your cup of tea. Happy playing!"
"The "Red Course" was challenging, well-maintained, and plenty of fun!"
