"My wife and I moved to Lake Cove Village Apartments a few months ago. I wanted to wait a few months before leaving any review of lake cove village apts so I had an honest review to leave. I am extremely happy with not only the apts but management. The apartments sit back off the main road right next to a beautiful lake. We were lucky and were able to rent an apartment with a beautiful picturesque view facing the lake. This is probably the quietest apartment we have ever lived in. All of the tenants I have had the pleasure of meeting are extremely kind and respectful. Management are always cordial and kind when I have spoken with them about anything. We have not had any maintenance issues but after talking to other tenants it is clear that when needed they respond in a timely manner and address the problem. They have many amenities including an indoor pool and all are well maintained. The grounds are very well maintained it is a rarity to see garbage blowing around. Snow is promptly removed from the walkway and loading areas and salted. Garages are also available which really makes things much easier in the winter. I am not sure what more a person could possibly want from an apartment but I have never been happier. Thank you lake cove apartments !"
"I been living at lake cover 3 years with my son. The pricing for single mother is great. The 2nd bedroom floor plan big enough for us. We even have a cat which the deposit not bad. The staff for the 3 years has been wonderful to me and my son. Very little noise day or night."
"Throughout the years. I lived in for 11 years, staff and maintenance were wonderful and no issues with them. If you are looking for affordable to live its cheaper than anywhere in twin cities because more space and roomy for one bedroom over 750+ ft square. Other things, you should aware, there is often, police patrolling around pretty much everyday in the area due to domestic violence (mostly), and some emergencies. Landlord usually have an announcements every building entrance post such as events, weather conditions like snow plow / parking lots, or repairs, etc which is nice to know about. Also for accessible for disabled people, there is NO elevator, NO fire alarm with flash lights system, NO door bell with flash lights system due to age of building, but if you are looking an accessible like hearing assistance, service animal would need to be written by doctor and the landlord would approve, however due to no dogs allowed at the property as often residents do ignore their property policy as I have seen while I had service animal at time. LCV have some offers for enjoyment, indoor pool is nice but small, fitness center is ok-ok, shower / sauna rooms is ok-ok, volleyball sand (need update) and picnic shelter right by the lake, but lake is very dirty FYI, people toss some stuff in the water, do not swim! There is couple of trails, couple of playgrounds areas. CityBus service is on the property usually on weekdays limited schedule that the route goes to downtown Saint Paul between LCV. Also easy access to nearby highways and a short drive to MSP airport or MOA. Consider it to live at LCV and affordable."
"I've been here for over a year with zero issues. Staff is professional and polite, maintenance is almost always on time, and the property itself is quiet and in a good neighborhood. I am happy here. This is a good place to live."
"I lived there for 3 but had no real issues as a resident. Pretty good location and a bunch of nice neighbors. I actually had more good things to say about the property than bad but given the way management handled my case after I moved out left me with zero respect for the entire company. The Damage deposit is only $100 so I certainly wasn’t seeking a payday after leaving. I requested to have the carpet cleaned in my second year of living there once I renewed the lease. Someone came out and touched up my wall paint but never cleaned my carpet. Third year of living there, same thing. I was told that someone would get to me as soon as they could. No one ever came to clean my carpet for two years in a row. I decided NOT to stay another year because of a rude office worker whose name I won’t say. I cleaned every square inch of my appointment on both hands and knees. Never did I think I’d have an issue with the return of my deposit. I got an itemized letter with expense charges and Surprise-Surprise...they charged me for cleaning the carpet!!!!....FYI, the apartment carpet was already pretty clean since I used area rugs with my furniture. No one in the office cared to correct this charge, I called the Big Boss of the company and this guy had the lowest level of professionalism and manners. After hollering and being hostile on the phone he told me “if You don’t like it, to take me to court”....click!.....hung up in my face. The office manager also showed that same level of professionalism towards me. Even if I would’ve gotten a $1.25 deposit refund with an apology or at least some common curtesy, it would have been a 5 star review from me. You can’t take advantage of people and treat your tenants like trash. Again, I have zero respect for this property and I would never recommend it to anyone thinking of moving here. Run while you still can!!!! Save yourself and don’t look back."
