"The apartment buildings smell terrible. This was the worst apartment I have ever lived at. $1070 a month for a run down apartment. Forget about the “great” amenities. They are constantly shut down. Upon move out I had a profession carpet cleaning company come to clean the carpets and I was STILL charged $220 “for the apartment people to clean them”. I do NOT recommend this place whatsoever."

"Apartment smells like cigarette smoke due to downstairs neighbors doing nothing all day but smoking inside. My daughter and i both have asthma but pearlwood refuses to do anything about it."

"I am sick of Hayloft. Many calls unreturned as they added extra charges that we didn't agree to, and honestly have been forcing out decent families for months. Now we are left in an impossible position and am just tired of it. - Charged for pest control that wasn't our fault. But guess what? The invoice from the apartment that actually had them disappeared and the maintenance guy that was there suddenly no longer works there. - Charges were put on the bill that was given to the county after we requested assistance due to my fiance being disabled. Their reply..."oh well" (May 2022) - Charged us DOUBLE for legal fees after an amount was given in court...no reply to that after multiple calls - 5 DIFFERENT PROPERTY MANAGERS IN 3 YEARS - Multiple attempts to change policies with each manager, forcing multiple attempts to claim "lease violations" - Neighbors smoke HEAVY AMOUNTS of pot. While not against it, attempts to try and get them to reduce, the office quoted "they pay their stuff on time, so not our problem" (March 2021 and Feb 2022) - Witnessed kids stealing packages. Told them Sept 2022, and was told "police need to be called by the resident. When approached about the cameras, was told "oh we don't pay attention to those" Yet we are the bad ones...so 2 weeks and we need to move. Just tired of this..."

"This is the worst managed property I’ve ever lived at. DO NOT move in to Pearlwood Estates unless you like being threatened with eviction. I’ve paid my rent on time or early every month but have still received threats. Today I actually received a Notice to Vacate for non payment of rent after they already cashed the rent check. Horrible, horrible, horrible management. I will give a shout out to the maintenance department though. They are the only employees who actually do their job."

"Haven't even lived here for 2 months and we found 2 cockroaches. We went to confront the office about it over a month ago and they still haven't done anything about it. My cousin who also lives in the same unit is highly allergic to cockroaches. My ac unit doesn't even run cold air, you'd think for a "brand new" "newly renovated" apartment it wouldn't come with cockroaches and a junky air conditioner. On top of that, it doesn't even seem like they renovated anything they just painted over everything including outlets, trimming, and door hinges. I've heard from multiple people that have lived here that they've had the same problems. Whoever they hired to replace the carpets did a horrible job or they just did it themselves, I can pick my carpet up without any resistance, just comes off my floor with a simple pull."
