"My issue with my heat in my apartment was resolved/fixed very quickly and professionally. Thankful for Megan, the property manager as she worked quickly to assist me. The gentleman who ultimately came to my apartment and fixed my issue, knew exactly what he was doing, and he was very professional."
"Mushrooms were growing on our patio and their solution was to put a piece of plywood over it for 2 whole years. We have put in 2 work orders in due to the mold infestation in our bathroom and they told us to spray bleach to get ride if it, but it grows back within a week. Our bedroom window has been shattered due to construction for 3 months and has not been fixed yet and their solution once again was to tape it and put a piece of foam up to it. Due to it being in the middle of winter, there was a huge draft coming in and our heating bill skyrocket. Also our oven broke and management forgot to order it after 1 month so we were out of an oven for 3 months. We have also put in many work orders and have been forgotten. The pool is closed every other week. The last 2 years of living here have really taken a down hill spiral. It’s unfortunate because we didn’t feel this way once we first moved in. We are promised things will get fixed and or will receive a phone call back and never do. Honestly, I don’t recommend living here anymore."
"Patti was able to answer all of my questions. She made me feel comfortable by being open and honest. Her suggestions about ways to make sure I qualify for the apartment I want was very helpful. I qualified and get to move into a fabulous apartment next month."
"Laundry room is never consistently operating at full capacity. The system frequently goes offline, machines stop on their own, and dryers don’t dry properly. Don’t bother submitting a refund request when the machine doesn’t start or complete the cycle, you won’t get refunded. I would bet the property also has the water we use from the washers accounted for in our water bill. So not only are you paying to just run the machine, but you’re also paying for yourself and everyone else in the buildings water use through the washers. They use a 3rd party company for their laundry—so don’t expect issues to be resolved promptly. Ceiling tiles are missing, paint is peeling from the humidity on the venting system above the ceiling tiles (that also likely is breeding mold, as there is terrible ventilation in the laundry room), and the bulbs lighting the laundry room constantly go out. If you want any sort of responsiveness from the office for an issue, don’t bother emailing them or messaging them through the rental portal—you will never get a response. The previous manager, Amy, was very attentive to issues and would ensure emails were responded to within a timely manner. You will get a faster response to a review on Google than you will to an email. There are major administrative/record keeping issues. When we initially moved in, we were told we were getting a specific unit - one of which was already taken. Thankfully, Amy acknowledged the mistake and made it right by giving us our first year’s rent at the price we were initially quoted on a replacement unit. Same with parking spots in the garage. I was told to park in two separate spots that were already taken, before I was actually given an open spot. The recently sent out paperwork for us to tell them who was parking where—-yikes. I won’t be surprised if when it comes time for us to move out they don’t have the correct deposit information documented. I can’t even blame the issue on the change of management or property owner, as the issue has been present for all the transitions. Keep your records. Smoking is a major issue. My bathroom constantly reeks of cigarette smoke. Amenities are a joke. The indoor pool is constantly being closed and they dragged their feet opening the outdoor pool last year. They don’t enforce rules with the pools either—there were constantly tenants smoking at the outdoor pool. Packages not delivered to the Luxor or office will be stolen. I’ve had packages from Target stolen from the mail area in our building. They don’t keep up with simple repairs—-there are stains on the ceilings of the building that have been there for years. There was recently an exposed socket with wires in the hallway. There are also spots within the building that feel like the floor is going out. Apartments are marketed as “luxury;” they are not. They are old apartments with cheap renovations and shiny new appliances—all of which to keep you distracted from the shitty electrical outlets that don’t hold a plug, broken trim, mildew ridden walls around the balcony doors, and crappy paint jobs. I work from home. They are currently tearing off the siding and balconies. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to get work done. Had I known this was going to be our reality for several months, I would not have renewed my lease. It’s also frustrating that we pay to have balconies and now will likely not have one come spring/early summer. There should’ve been a discount on our rent to account for this nuisance or a heads up at renewal. The only positive thing about these apartments is the maintenance guys. They are always kind and say “hi” when they see you. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the property can’t seem to keep them around. There has been constant turnover of really great maintenance men. Read your lease carefully. There is a section about carpeting—expect you to professionally clean the carpet before move out. Interestingly, they replace the carpet with each new tenant—why have us clean it?"
"I have been a resident for over a year, and re-signed my lease to give this place the benefit of the doubt. My motorcycle was stolen from my assigned parking spot during summer 2022. I pay good money for this spot every month! The buildings have no cameras whatsoever; including the parking lots, underground garage, front door or side entrances. I reported the theft to the leasing office, hoping they would help me problem solve, but they quite literally did nothing. Work with the cops they said. It is now approaching summer 2023 and I worry about the safety of my belongings and person as there are still no cameras. I guess someone needs to get hurt for there to be any action. Sad. Edit: June 2023 I was expecting management to actually do something (ie. Waive/reduce garage fees) when they commented to visit them at the leasing office. They apologized, which I appreciate, but I’m still paying for a parking spot with no cameras. Issue not resolved. Edit: July 2023 Outdoor pool opened on 6.14, a whole 2 weeks after Memorial Day. Kids are out of school and can’t even enjoy it."
