The Aubrey Apartments

"The apartment complex is very nice and designed well. All the appliances are top quality. Sound proofing from apartment to apartments is pretty good, however you can hear some noises from above and when you are in the hall way. The location is great, but nicollet street can be busy. Its nice to be 1 mile from lake Harriet. There were some thefts of packages within the apartment, including my own, which has resulted in a camera in the mail room. There was only so much management could do, but I felt they took it seriously and addressed it in a timely manner. Management in general have been very hard to contact(no office on site), but when you can reach them, they are helpful and understanding. Additionally, Lack of snow removal of the off-street parking lot was one of my least favorite parts of living here. They seem to only consider having the snow removed if its a large snow fall, and even then it's not guaranteed."

"Any good part about this apartment is outweighed by its major problems. The noise levels impacted my everyday life. I was excited to live in a quieter area of the city, but The Aubrey is poorly built. My partner and I slept with earplugs and a white noise machine EVERY night. We heard every step that the upstairs neighbor made, we can even hear them sneeze as if they are in the same room as us. I have heard good and bad things from other tenants. Living here is a gamble — Don’t take the risk, especially at The Aubrey’s “luxury” high price."
