"Lived here for 1.5 years. Would NOT recommend. While the apartment itself and the location is nice, management is absolutely horrible. We had 5 different community managers during our time here. They never communicated when new management started and what their contact info was. With all of that turnover some how information and payments got lost. They ended our lease early and put us on month-to-month without telling us?! We had 4 months left on our 1 year lease agreement. We found out because they started charging us extra, and again, without telling us. Maintenance parked in our paid parking spot. We submitted maintenance requests and then didn’t hear back for several weeks until we called to check on it. It probably had something to do with the high management turn-over. And then once we found management using our bike air pump to pump up someone random’s bike."

"I enjoy this hidden gem! It is dog friendly, and has open loft style units. I really love that the neighbors are great, and friendly as well. I can walk to many things, and find that its a great spot for a quieter, smaller building. The third floor unit has a beautiful sky light, that probably one of the best features for natural light."

"Do not rent here. Terrible experience. It didn’t give me the option to give zero stars. They added another tenants utility bill to my account and never bothered to tell me (I had to spend hours getting it removed). It took me over 6 months of emails and phone calls to get my buzzer working (surprise: they never told me it wasn’t working before I signed the lease). The person who was super responsive pre signing the lease (Lisa) completely ghosted me when I started asking what was taking so long with respect to my buzzer. In one of the emails she asked if I had any issues receiving packages (completely missing the point). When I got a parking spot, the first day I parked I got my car towed (the new property manager Barrett didn’t bother to validate what car I drove after saying I could park in the lot). They decided to cover half of the towing fee after initially not wanting to cover it all. All in all, terrible experience. Do not rent with Halverson Blaiser unless you enjoy paying what they charge and not getting basic services in return. The only thing this company can do well is accept your rent payment. Thats about it. This company is so poorly run its shocking. They wanted to do showings in mid march right after the lockdown started (randoms walking through my apartment) and I had to push back and let them know i wasnt comfortable with that and offered to record a video of the apartment instead (which was my suggestion). One of the people who I was speaking who was trying to help me with the buzzer situation (it was their last day on the job) disclosed their coworkers health information unprompted (YIKES) which is the most unprofessional stuff Ive ever witnessed. Yikes all around. If Halverson Blaiser wants to remain in the business of managing properties, they should place more emphasis on “managing”. Thank god my nightmare ended."

"The apartments themselves are beautiful and have nice amenities. But that's where the good things end. In the roughly 1.5 years I lived there I experienced: * filthy apartment when I moved in when it was supposed to be professionally cleaned. I was told I would get a cleaning credit, but then they charged it for me instead. It took months for this to come to fruition * incorrect lease terms that resulted in additional charges later * HORRIBLE parking situation. You pay like $80 a month for a dedicated spot that people will park in constantly and they won't give you towing privileges * they will introduce short lease terms and raise your rent continually (see next point) *overpriced for area: there are basically no building amenities. You can live in a comparable studio next door for the same price and have tons of amenities * when I wanted to leave and rent the apartment early they kept changing the price, ignoring my leads, and then telling em another apartment had been vacated first so it was the priority. They apparently didn't want to rent any of them The only reason I gave two stars is because of location and apartment itself. Maintenance was also prompt. I would avoid this company. I experienced three different managers in 1.5 years."
