Parkview Apartments

"I moved into Parkview apartments on the 13th. The apartment was very clean, everything was in working order. Garrett (property manager) and Don (maintenance) have been outstanding! I am so happy here. And even though it’s a smoking complex I rarely have any smell in my apartment! I can’t wait to finish unpacking and use the indoor pool!"

"I’ve been here 8 Months. The staff on property ( Jim and Don) are helpful and accommodating to your needs as a resident. I finally feel like someone cares about my living experience. I have rented 2 other places and both were a disaster of greedy slumlords, who could care less about the quality of my living conditions. How refreshing to have the validation of deserving a nice, safe place to live. Also, my unit was totally overhauled and looked beautiful upon move in. The pool is well kept and feels fabulous after a day of work. Thanks guys! You rock!"

"Overall not the worst place you could live. Management is super nice, neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves, haven’t witnessed any crime, packages don’t get stolen, I feel safe overall. With that being said, if I didn’t have small pets, I probably wouldn’t live here, as many apartments don’t allow them. My biggest complaint is in building 35, there are only wall units in the living room. Summer is just getting started and even with our AC unit on full blast at 60° for hours the living room barely hits 70° and our bedroom has to be close to 80°, so be prepared to buy some sort of AC unit for your bedroom. We have a path of fans trying to blow cold air into our bedroom currently and of course having to pay the electricity bill, it gets expensive. Along with the electricity, you have to pay every single other utility you can think of, not a single utility is included in rent. So instead of just the $1100 you may be paying, you can get close to $1400 in bills every month which is just outrageous for the overall quality of apartment. You also don’t pay for what you specifically use, they split the total bills between all tenants so there’s a chance you’re paying more than you would be paying otherwise. My last complaint would be parking. There are times when the parking lot is completely full by 7pm, and you’re expected to park across Old Shakopee Rd which is fairly busy. I feel like if I’m paying at least $1300 between bills, I should be able to park in my own parking lot."

"We loved living at this apartment. In the beginning we had some issues with our upstairs neighbor, it literally sounded like they would run in place for hours! It would drive us nuts! We stuck it out till they left and had a much better replacement. We had a few maintenance requests that were fulfilled in a timely manner and they were always polite. The manager, Elisha is a go getter and willing to accommodate many needs. The apartment was in a beautiful location looking over the park. We were on the first floor and had two cute gardens and a walkout patio leading to a small grassy area. Hardly anyone used the patios or decks so it never felt like an apartment setting. I've stayed in 3 apartments so far and this was definitely the best."
